What is Passport (your NEWDIH account)?
Passport is the account that represents you on NEWDIH. It's tied to you as a person, not to a club, so you can keep using the same Passport even if you change teams or retire.
When is it created?
It's created automatically as soon as sign-up is complete. There's no separate application step.
What you can do with Passport
- Manage your display name, photo, and profile (see Change your profile)
- Set up two-factor authentication
- Switch stages (Player, Coach, Lifeballer)
- Connect external services and configure notifications
- Request suspension or permanent deletion
Relationship to clubs
A club's player data (jersey number, team, records) becomes linked to your Passport when you join. Your Passport itself remains even after you leave the club.
Your email address is stored encrypted.
Passport doesn't store email addresses in plain text. The system is built so that even our internal admin console cannot display data it cannot decrypt.
