  • On newji.jp you can now read "Match Previews" of weekend high school and youth matches. They include introductions of both teams, directions to the venue, and a list of upcoming fixtures (Japanese only).
  • The "How the competitions work" page shows, with diagrams, how leagues and tournaments connect for each age group and when each competition takes place during the year (Japanese only).
  • We added Help Center articles on how to use Football Budget, Play Log and Duties & Rides, and on condition, mental state and fitness tests.
  • Opening app.newdih.com now shows the newji.jp introduction page first. If you are signed in, you still go straight to your home screen as before.

Video analysis gets a scoreboard and "play and export just around your marks"; Football Budget, Play Log and Duties & Rides are now available

  • Videos linked to a match can now show a scoreboard that changes over time with the goals in the match record. You can choose its design, and exported videos include the same scoreboard.
  • You can now play only the moments around the marks you added to a video, one after another. You set how many seconds before and after, and "Export as one video" joins those scenes into a single video.
  • Football Budget, Play Log and Duties & Rides are no longer "coming soon". Keep your own record of what you spend on football, the days you kicked a ball, and your duty and ride schedule.
  • Parents and guardians can now link with their child using the player's Persistent ID, shared by the club representative, and the child's date of birth. The guide now has an FAQ, and each answer can be shared with parents and players.

Players under 13 can now use NEWDIH APP through their club (Terms of Service and Privacy Policy updated)

  • On October 19, 2026, we updated our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, effective today. Clubs in Japan whose representative has agreed to our club agreement can now accept players under 13.
  • For a child under 13 to use the app, a parent or guardian must give consent in the app. A registration code for the child is then shown, and the child uses it to create a new account.
  • Under-13 accounts cannot use public profiles or share links, contact people outside the club, or receive ads and activity tracking (including analytics cookies). The parent or guardian can withdraw consent at any time from the "Link with Child" screen in the app.
  • Nothing changes for users aged 13 and over, including pricing. See the full Terms of Service (https://app.newdih.com/en/legal/terms) and Privacy Policy (https://app.newdih.com/en/legal/privacy).

Added “Copy last week” and “This week’s theme” to the calendar, and players and guardians can now follow the analysis of their own matches

  • In the calendar’s week view, tap “Copy last week” to copy the events you entered last week into this week in one go.
  • You can now set a “This week’s theme” for each week. Coaches at the club can see it on the calendar too.
  • Players’ and guardians’ home screens now have “Match analysis”, showing how the analysis of the matches they played is progressing (Waiting, Analyzing, Done). For matches where the club owner has pressed “Share with players” on the video, they can also watch the video and the tagged scenes.

Every coach at the club can now handle surveys and inquiries, and trial applications, camp guides and joint training have been refined

  • Any coach currently at the club can now create surveys and reply to inquiries from members, even without being given permission.
  • In player recruitment and trials, applications that were not accepted no longer count toward the capacity, so that spot opens up again. A parent’s email address is now required to apply, and the confirmation email lets them check the status.
  • You can now include room assignments in a camp guide’s shared link. You choose whether to include them when you create the link.
  • Joint training sessions now also appear on the calendars of the teams that were added. When choosing a training session for a meeting, the team names are shown too.

Share your open dates for friendlies with connected opponents

Fitness testing comes to clubs, and each training session now lists the equipment to bring

  • Clubs can now run fitness tests. Use the standard tests or create your own, enter a whole testing day's results at once, and check rankings and each player's progress. You can also print sheets for recording.
  • Players and parents see their own results over time and roughly where they stand within the team. Other players' names and results are not shown.
  • Enter how much equipment each drill needs, and each training session shows how much of each item to bring. It also appears on the printed session sheet.
  • Fixed a bug where the app could fail to load when you opened it while already signed in. The checkout page for paid plans now also appears in the language you have selected in the app. On phones, share links and match, training and video pages now have a “Share on LINE” button so you can send them straight to LINE. The message you send now also includes details such as the date and place of the match, training or video.

Player condition logging, plus club calendar and meetings now visible to coaches and in the app

  • Coaches who belong to a club can now see its schedule in the club calendar. From a match on the calendar, you can go straight to that match's screen.
  • Adding and editing events is still done by the club's administrator, as before.
  • Players can now quickly log how they feel that day and how hard training was. Club coaches can see the whole team's condition and which players may need attention, all in one place. Club owners can choose, coach by coach, who gets to see this overview. A new Availability screen combines injury records and condition to show, player by player, who can play in the next match, and marks them when you pick the match squad and take training attendance.
  • The iPhone app now shows your club's meetings. On Apple Watch, you can record a meeting and save it to the club's records.

  • Quick create in Notes now lets you choose from three levels of detail in every category. Match records now keep the clock running from where you left off when you close and reopen them. Matches now have start and end times, with a warning when another event overlaps at the same venue and time. Any coach in the club can now create and record matches.
