Write where you are and where you are going
Your current club and age, and your dream club. Those two are enough to open the design desk.
ROADMAP
How old you will be, where, in what role, and what you will have left behind. You line them all up yourself into one road. If how you feel or where you are changes while you run it, you can redraw it as many times as you like. The old road never disappears.
It is a personal feature, so it is free — regardless of what your club subscribes to.
This page runs the same way: one road, all the way down.
THE PROBLEM
You can name the destination, but the road to it usually only exists in your head. How old you will be, where, and what you need to have left behind to move on. Unless you write it down, next year’s choices — and the way back when you get lost — get decided by whatever you feel that day. The roadmap is the screen where you line that road up in the order of age and keep it ready to be redrawn.
Build the roadTHE DESK
On the design desk you line the milestones up from the top. Each one holds an age, a category, a role, a one-line title and the results you want to leave. Use ↑↓ to change the order you pass through, and the bin to remove one. When it feels right, you save it as a version. The first time, three answers — where you are, where you are going and the way through — are enough to start running.
Run the roadTHE JOURNEY
Once you save a version, the screen becomes your live plan. Your current club, your current age and your dream club sit at the top; the next milestone is the only one shown large, and after that come up to three more. The rest are folded away. Only when less than a year is left does the dashboard say anything. There is no permanent card.
See the whole roadTHE TIMELINE
The clubs you have belonged to, where you are now, and the milestones still ahead all join up on the same single line. The axis is your actual age, counted from your birthday — not your school year. Past and future are not kept on separate screens, so “how many years until where I want to be” is readable at one scale.
Redraw the roadTHE VERSIONS
An injury, a transfer, an assessment, how you feel, your surroundings. When you want to rebuild it, you pick what happened and dig into why you decided that, up to three levels deep. What changed (added, removed, edited, reordered) is written for you, so all you write is the reason. The old version stays in the history exactly as it was. You can also leave the reason as one entry in Soccer Note (optional).
Who can see itWHO CAN SEE
This plan is about where you are heading, and also about what did not work out. So the default is “only me”. Whether to share it with a guardian is your call too.
You can only read your own roadmap. There is no screen where coaches or teammates see it as a list.
Sharing with a guardian is a switch you turn on yourself. Nothing is shared by default.
Even when shared, a guardian sees the milestones and the progress. “Why you pass through here” and your reasons for rebuilding are not shared.
You can share with a guardian up to U-15 by school-year age. The moment you turn U-16, sharing ends without you switching anything off.
Your current club and age, and your dream club. Those two are enough to open the design desk.
At what age, where, in what role, and what you leave behind. Order them from the top, and save when it feels right.
An injury, or an assessment that changed. Leave what happened and why you decided, then line them up again.
No. The roadmap is a personal feature and it is free. It has nothing to do with which modules your club subscribes to. Note that this is a player-stage screen: switch your stage to player and it sits under Personal data in the sidebar.
You rebuild it. Pick what happened from eight triggers, write why you decided that up to three levels deep, and save — a new version starts running. The old version stays in the history, so you can read back what you were thinking at the time.
“Did not reach” and “changed course” are never measured as early or late. Only milestones you achieved carry whether it went to plan or how many years it took. No delay is shown on a milestone you did not reach.
Only when you switch sharing on yourself: the milestones and the progress. “Why you pass through here” and your reasons for rebuilding are not shared. Sharing is possible up to U-15 by school-year age, and ends automatically at U-16.
Up to 40 per version. Each milestone carries up to 20 results to leave. Categories run from primary school to the senior national team and life after retirement — 16 of them — and roles run from being in the squad to coach or manager, 8 in all.
No. A plan in progress is kept as it is, so you can write on your phone and finish on a PC. The moment you save it as a version, the draft is cleared away.
Creating an account is free. Your current club, and where you want to go. Those two are enough to start.
