PLAYER BRAND

Scattered days become
one picture of you.

A bottle and a towel, muddy boots, kit drying on the line. A player’s days are made of small fragments. Brand in NEWDIH is the screen where you turn those fragments into words and chapters, and keep them in one place.

This is a screen in player mode. It is a personal feature, so there is no charge.

A bench beside the pitch in the evening, lined with bottles in different colours, a folded towel and a bib set down next to them.
Muddy boots left on a concrete floor, one of them turned over so the studs show.
Three training tops — blue, green and orange — hanging on a washing line under a clear sky.

THE PROBLEM

To “What kind of player are you?”,
you give a different answer every time.

The meeting about your next step. Introducing yourself at a trial. The first day with a new team. You have to explain who you are far more often than you would think, and each time you look for the words on the spot, so what comes out is a little different every time. It is because you never wrote it down. Even what you once scribbled in the corner of a notebook is nowhere to be found when you go looking.

01WORDS

Seven questions, answered in order.

You can set down how you want to be seen as a player, split into seven questions. A one-line tagline. The values you hold. What kind of player you are. Why you play football. What makes you different from others. The self-image you are aiming for. Your playing style. You do not have to fill them all at once — write whichever one comes to you.

NEWDIH APP self-positioning screen. Under the line “Put into words how you want to be seen as a player.”, input fields run down the screen — a one-line tagline, the values you hold, what kind of player you are, why you play football, what makes you different — each already filled in.
The seven questions run down the screen. All optional, saved from wherever you filled in.
ASK

The tagline and playing style hold 120 characters, the values 500, and the other four 2,000

ANY

All seven are optional. Write one and save it if you like

OVER

Rewrite as often as you want. It overwrites, so only the words you hold now remain

NEWDIH APP story screen. Under the line “Leave a record of your path — the chapters of your life.”, chapters titled the first team (age 7), the year watched from the bench (age 10) and the day the number 8 was handed over (age 12) stack downwards along a vertical line, each with a title and a body.
Chapters stack downwards in the order you added them. The pencil and bin on the right edit that chapter alone.

02STORY

The road you walked, as chapters.

The day you joined. The year you sat on the bench. The day you were handed a number. Give a chapter a title and a body, and stack them from the top. Adding one later does not disturb the order, and you can rewrite or delete a single chapter at a time.

TITLE

A chapter title holds 120 characters. The body holds 5,000

ORDER

Chapters keep their order. What you add is stacked underneath

EACH

Editing and deleting are one chapter at a time. The others do not move

Frequently Asked Questions

Q01Can anyone else see what I write?

No. Your self-positioning, your chapters and your social links are visible only to you. They do not reach the coaches at your club or the other players. Your own player dashboard shows the tagline, the values and the kinds of channel you registered, read-only — but that too is your own screen.

Q02Does it cost anything?

No. Signing up is free, and Brand is a personal feature, so it is free to use. It has nothing to do with the modules a club subscribes to, and it opens even if your club does not use NEWDIH.

Q03Do I have to fill all seven before I can save?

No. All seven are optional, so you can write just the one line and save, then add more later. Each rewrite overwrites the last, so what remains is only the words you hold now. Earlier drafts are not kept.

Q04Can the follower count be pulled in automatically?

No, you type it in. There is no connection to your social account, so you enter the number yourself on the days you want to count. One link takes one entry a day, and entering the same day again overwrites it. The line covers the last 30 days, and if there is only one record inside that window no line is drawn.

Q05I am a coach, but I want to write my own brand too.

Brand is a screen in player mode. If you hold both the coach and the player role, switch your stage to “player” and it appears. You can switch as often as you like, and what you wrote stays when you switch back.

Q06Can I use it without any social accounts?

Yes. Registering links is optional, so you are welcome to use only the self-positioning and the chapters. The other way round works too: register only the links and watch how the follower count moves.
