Your family’s schedule
sits in scattered places.

A practice change gets posted in a chat. A match meet-up time comes home as a printout. Duty assignments get decided in a hallway conversation. With two children, two clubs run at their own pace. Every week, parents gather the same schedule from separate places and copy it onto the family calendar — and by the time it is copied, it is already out of date. NEWDIH takes the schedule a club enters once and shows it on the guardian's screen exactly as it is. The whole step of copying it over disappears.

What shows is only “schedule addressed to the whole club” and “schedule addressed to that child's team.” Practices for other age groups never get mixed in. With two children, one club-wide entry shows as two rows, one under each child's name, so whose schedule it is never gets misread.

Link with your childTHE LINK

There are only two ways to link.

One is when the email address your child registered under guardian consent matches your own — the candidate then shows up with a name and club. The other is entering your child's public ID (a number starting with PLR-) as told to you by the club. Neither links you the moment it matches. It shows the name and club first, and only links once you press through a confirmation screen. A matching email only proves you are the owner of that consent email — not, by itself, that you are the parent.

TWO GATES

The consent email matchesWhen the email address your child registered under guardian consent is the same as yours. The candidate shows with a name and club.
Enter the public IDEnter the number starting with PLR- that the club gave you. If it is not found, you get the same reply whether or not it exists.

Either way, you press through only after a confirmation screen.

Wear, eat, live, listen, support. Five entrances, each collecting your own records over time. A card shows only the count of what you wrote. What goes in here is not match records or results. When it's time to replace your boots, what you serve for breakfast on match day, the song you play in the car on the way there — notes on where football has worked its way into daily life.

One entry is just a title and a note.

Records go in one at a time. All you need is a title; the note and a link can be added whenever you want to write them. A title runs up to 120 characters, a note up to 5,000. We do not hold photos. You can edit it later, and the only entries you can delete are your own. “My current boots are my third pair” and “Two rice balls on match morning” sit side by side as the same kind of entry.

What a guardian cannot doWHAT A GUARDIAN CANNOT DO

What a parent can do: link, view, unlink.

These three are all a guardian's screen lets you do. There has never been a way to answer attendance on your child's behalf, or to edit what your child has written — the child's screen belongs to the child, from the start. So once you're linked, there is nothing a parent can accidentally break.

FOUR PROMISES

Attendance cannot be answered on their behalf

There is no way to answer attendance from the guardian's screen. It is answered by the child (or by whichever adult views that screen).
A child's records cannot be rewritten

Only the club's schedule shows on the guardian's screen. Neither the notebook nor any record can be touched from here.
You can unlink at any time

Unlinking stops the schedule from showing. You can link again later.
A public ID cannot be guessed through

When it is not found, you get the same reply regardless of whether that ID exists.

Add Lifeballer to your Passport, and you can reach the “Life” screens from the mode switch in the header.

Link with your child

If a candidate shows up, just take it. If not, enter the public ID you got from the club.

Write just one entry in Life

A title alone is enough to leave it. Add the note and the link later, if you want.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q01Does it cost anything?

No. The calendar, linking with your child, and Life are all personal features, and all of them are free. It has nothing to do with which modules your club subscribes to. Note that these are Lifeballer-mode screens: add Lifeballer in your Passport and you can reach them from the mode switch in the header.

Q02If the club my child attends does not use NEWDIH, does the schedule still show?

No. Only the schedule a club has entered into NEWDIH shows on the calendar. The link itself, though, can still be made as long as your child has a NEWDIH account.

Q03Is it fine if I have two or more children?

Yes. The schedule for every child you've linked shows in one list, each tagged with a name. If they are in different age groups, only the schedule addressed to that child's team shows in that child's row.

Q04How soon does a schedule change show up?

It reads the club's schedule exactly as it stands the moment you open the screen. There is no separate copy kept on the guardian's side, so no copying gap can occur.

Q05Can I see the notebook or records my child has written?

No. Only the club's schedule shows on the guardian's screen. There is one exception: while your child has turned sharing on themselves, a separate screen shows only their milestones and progress. Even there, the reasons they wrote, or why they rebuilt a plan, never show.

Q06If I unlink, do the Life entries I wrote disappear too?

No. Your Life entries are yours, and have nothing to do with the link. Unlinking changes only one thing — your child's schedule stops showing.
