Permissions and what can be delegated to coaches

Club managementLast updated 2026-08-02

NEWDIH club permissions have two tiers, "owner" and "coach," with À la carte, module-by-module delegation layered on top.

Owner

  • Editing Club settings
  • Adding and removing coaches, and granting or revoking owner status
  • Generating, regenerating, and disabling the join link
  • Changing plan / module subscriptions
  • Operations involving money, such as fees

Modules that can be delegated to coaches

The following three modules can have view and edit access delegated to the coach in charge.

ModuleTypical reason to delegate
Venue (facility booking)The coach in charge handles securing the ground
Alumni rosterManaged by whoever runs the alumni association
Away tripsThe age-group or trip leader manages the itinerary and attendance
Collecting fees and dues cannot be delegated.
Modules involving money are owner-only. Creating invoices for away trip participation fees requires Fees permission in addition to Away trips.

How to delegate

From the club's member management screen, set permissions module by module for the coach in question. Modules that haven't been delegated won't appear on that coach's screen.

What players and guardians can see

Players and guardians cannot see administrative ledgers (the full roster, finances, or other players' records). Only communications, attendance, away trips, and invoices relevant to them are shown.
