Connect with opponents and arrange friendly matches
Connections with opponents are made using an in-person QR code. This isn't an automatic matchmaking system with strangers — the usual conversation at the match venue becomes your ledger entry.
How to connect
- Open Club → Opponents and click "Connect via in-person QR".
- Show the QR code to the opposing coach.
- They scan it, sign in, and connect (if they don't have an account, they can create one on the spot).
- Both clubs are added to each other's opponent ledger.
You can also register opponents you haven't connected with yet.
Use "Add an opponent manually (hold)" to register just a display name and category as a placeholder for now. You can merge it with the actual connection later.

Understanding the ledger
- Connected opponents … Opponents that both sides are connected with
- Invited (awaiting sign-up) … You invited them, but they haven't registered yet
If you can't connect
- "This connect code is invalid or has expired." — Ask them to display the QR code again.
- "You can't connect with your own code." — You scanned your own QR code on your own device. Have the other coach scan it on their device instead.
Once a match is set
Once the schedule is finalized, reflect it in the calendar and in match records. If the match involves travel, you can manage attendance and the itinerary in Away trips.
